EcoTools Eye Enhancing Duo Set
Who can resist new EcoTools brushes? Not me, obviously. I picked these up at Walmart while intending to get Q-tips. First, I must say that I’m actually not a big fan of duo-ended brushes because they are hard to store and clean. I’m always afraid of getting water on one side while cleaning the other side. But duo-ended brushes are super convenient for traveling.
This set has 2 brushes. The first brush (left) has a smudger brush on one side and a blending brush on the other. The second brush (right) has an eyeshadow brush on one end and an angled eyeliner brush on the other side. The eyeshadow brush is like a hybrid of a blending brush and a flat eyeshadow brush. The width is narrower than their full size eyeshadow brush and fits my eye shape a lot better. The angled eyeliner brush is a bit more stiff than their full size angled eyeliner brush, which I use to fill in my brows since it’s too wide and soft to create a thin line. Since it’s more stiff, it’ll probably work for eyeliner (but I haven’t tried it yet). The sizes of all these brushes are perfect for me since I have hooded eyelids with a small crease.
Overall, no complaints about these brushes. They are very soft and pick up both powder & cream eyeshadows very well. If you find eye brushes from other brands to be too stiff for you, try out these brushes and you’ll be pleasantly surprised :)
