Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder (Buff Beige)

Hi everyone! Hope you all are staying warm in this cold weather. Today, I’ll be reviewing a compact face powder. For all oily and combination skin folks out there (like myself), a pressed powder is a must-have in our bags. Since I have dry combination skin in the winter, quite a few pressed powders make my skin look cakey, enlarge my pores, and exaggerate the dry patches. The Rimmel Stay Matte Pressed Powder does a wonderful job of keeping my face matte without any of the problems I mentioned earlier. This product comes with multiple shades, including a transparent powder. I’m using 012 Buff Beige. This shade works well for my skin tone in the winter. But it’s probably going to be too light for the summer. I like to apply this pressed powder with my EcoTools Large Powder Brush after I apply my BB cream in the morning and after I blot my face during the day. This product does have a slight scent to it, but it’s not too noticeable and it doesn’t bother me at all. In terms of packaging, I wish it came in one of those cases where you open up and there’s a mirror inside. The lid seems rather loose and you could easily to break the powder if you are not careful. Other than that, this is a solid product and I’d strongly recommend it to those of you with oily or combination skin.

This product is available at: Ulta, drugstore.com, and your local drugstores
