Mario Badescu Drying Cream
Hi everyone! It’s midterm season over here so I’ve been going through a lot of stress. It’s no surprise that my skin has been breaking out like crazy. Instead of re-ordering my beloved Clinique Acne Spot Healing Gel, I decided to try something new. The Mario Badescu Drying Lotion has received a ton of great reviews online. But I was worried that it might be too drying for fall and winter months. So I decided to get the Drying Cream instead. So far, I like this product. I only use it as night because it has a pretty strong smell, which I have gotten used to by now. I prefer to use it before I put on my night moisturizer. The light fragrance of my moisturizer is able to cover up the smell of the acne product. I noticed a big difference overnight when I put the drying cream over cystic acne. As for white heads, it didn’t seem do much.
The packaging consists of a small pot and it seems like the product would last a long time. I’ve read some reviews where people said the product tends to dry up before you use up the whole thing. I didn’t completely remove the seal so I could keep the container closed as tightly as possible. Overall, it’s a pretty solid product and it works better than a lot of other spot treatments I’ve tried. But the smell and the packaging could bother some people.
This product costs $14 and you can purchase it at Nordstrom and Ulta.
